- What is a zine?
A zine in this context is an unofficial collection of fanmade works in a book format. In this case, the collection is 2D artwork based on the video game Armored Core VI.
- What will be in RECORDS // ANALYSIS?
The zine will be themed around the canonical Armored Core mechs from Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. Each participating artist will contribute at least one all-new artwork that will be printed and featured in the zine.
- Who is organizing this project?
Head Organizer: Diurnal Days
Diurnal has previous experience with contributing to zines and organizing Artist Alley stamp rallies. You can find them here.
Logistics Mod: Neverender
Nevrender handles zine logistics and assists in general administration.
Graphics Mod: Faust
Faust assists in creating promo graphics and zine design for RECORDS // ANALYSIS. You can find them here.
- Will there be open applications for artists?
Because this zine is relatively small in scope, artists will only be accepted via private invitation. There will not be a public application period for this zine. This policy may be reconsidered for potential future Armored Core zines.
- Will this project be for profit?
We intend to sell enough copies to compensate each contributor with free digital and physical copies of the zine. Any remaining profits will be distributed equally between zine contributors.
- Will there be merchandise for the zine?
To keep the scope of this zine manageable, there will not be any merchandise add-ons. However, there may be an exclusive bonus item for Day 1 preorders.
- When are preorders expected to open?
Preorders are currently slated to open in March of 2026.
- Where will the zine be shipped from?
The zine will be printed in and shipped from the United States of America.
- Will there be international orders for the zine?
We intend to have the zine available for shipping to any country that accepts parcels containing books from the United States at the time of preorders opening. However, international buyers are fully responsible for paying applicable duties to import the zine.
- Will this zine be sold at conventions?
Small physical runs of the zine might be sold at conventions by participating contributors.
